About Lisa Lawlor


Lisa first started dancing at age 8 with Paula Kearns School of Dance in ballet , theatre craft and modern jazz. She also joined several schools throughout Dublin and took classes in hiphop, tap,freestyle/slowdance for many years. Lisa made her way up through all dance grades then onto become a qualified dance teacher by the age of 17 with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) which is the largest dance association in the world and British Cheerleading Association (BCA). By age 18 she started to teach dance in an Adults education centre teaching up to 40 adults in a class, choreographing transition years performances in secondary schools and opened up her own dance school in 2008 in Kildangan Co. Kildare then moved the school to Monasterevin Co. Kildare. 

She started teaching hiphop in her school first, then due to a great success she then went onto teach variety styles of dance such as ballet/contemprary,theatre craft and cheerleading and opened up another two schools in Portarlington Co. Laois and Rathangan Co. Kildare. Now 16 years later our school is more successful than ever with up 250 students training in our weekly classes!! 

Our students take part in annual shows, IDTA examinations from grades to professional exams and competitions throughout the year.
